Charity Event for IT4Kids - Golf Tournament
The Rotary Club from Maarssen organized the Rotary Golf Event at Lage Vuursche. An afternoon of golfing for the charity: IT4Kids. It was a successful and beautiful day.
The Initiative
On August 31, 2023, the Rotary Maarssen Golf Event took place. It was a fantastic day of golfing dedicated to raising funds for IT4Kids. All proceeds from the event were donated to the WKZ Sports Program of the Friends UMC Utrecht & Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital. The proceeds from this day consisted of two parts: a donation from the registration fees and a small auction organized after the golfing.
What Was Raised for IT4Kids?
With this wonderful golf day, an impressive €30,000 was raised for IT4Kids and the charity partner Friends UMC Utrecht & Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital. The goal of this program is to get children out of their hospital beds quickly through movement.
It was a fantastic result and a great collaboration between Rotary Club Maarssen, IT4Kids, and Friends UMC Utrecht & WKZ. Our gratitude goes out to Rotary Club Maarssen and all the participants!
